Triangle Bikeworks is a nonprofit, youth driven retail bicycle shop where repair and maintenance can be done. Functioning as a bicycle recycling center the shop will refurbish bikes that would normally go into the waste stream.
Carpe Diem is a 15 hour program specifically designed for college students who have been charged by law enforcement with an alcohol violation and offered a first offender's deferred prosecution by the District Attorney's Office.
This multipurpose recreation center offers an indoor pool, gymnasium, climbing wall and meeting room. Outside are basketball and bocce ball courts, playground, Gene Strowd Community Rose Garden with gazebo, compost demonstration site, walking trails and picnic tables. Outside areas on first come basis. Inside areas can be rented.
The Ronald McDonald House of Chapel Hill is a beacon of hope for more than 2,000 families that travel to Chapel Hill each year for their child's treatment at area hospitals. The House provides a setting for family and community to flourish, and offers caring and support to families struggling with a child's illness.

Teens Climb High (TCH) is a teen empowerment program for middle school girls focused on evidence based pregnancy prevention curriculum. Serves: Middle School Female Students of Color Scope: 35 Students (as of May 2011) Services: Sex Education Size: 1 full-time staff, 2 interns, 3 volunteers Structure: Run by the Compass Center for Women and Families, the program serves Smith and Phillips Middle Schools.
IYF is a mix of undocumented and documented youth from all over Carrboro and Chapel Hill, North Carolina. We aim to provide supportive and safe place that you can come to when you are in need. We are committed to action and change, by keeping a vigilant eye on laws being passed that affect our community.
In the fall of 2011, the founders of Triangle Bikeworks partnered with several organizations including, the Carrboro Bike Coalition and the Town of Carrboro Recreation and Parks to hold the first ever Kidical Mass event in North Carolina. Since that first successful event we’ve held it each spring and fall.
Outdoor experiences and discovery in the natural world are fundamental to children's learning, well-being, creativity and health. By providing quality indoor and outdoor learning environments, we give children the structures they need to explore, discover and learn.
