Children in lower income homes have an opportunity to participate in social and educational enrichment activities, with help from the SKJAJA Fund, a 501(c)(3) organization in Chapel Hill. The fund was created in September 2008 by Eric and Charlotte White to not only provide funding for children who might not be able to afford such activities, but also to teach an important lesson about citizenship.
The TSC / Youth Community Project is dedicated to providing youth-created spaces, where young people can pursue their healthy desires for socializing, creative expression, self-determination, and collective empowerment. 10 serve on the “youth board”, and events have hosted up to 300 teens.

TPC/DCM18 offer a place for all community members to have free access to television production and ensures effective uses of community media. We offer low cost education in media production, access to state of the art production equipment, and continuous support for community members to exercise their right to free speech.
