People Offering Relief for Chapel Hill and Carrboro Homes, or PORCH for short, is an all-volunteer, grass-roots, non-profit organization whose mission is to collect more food for the hungry in the community.
Rainbow Soccer is a recreational soccer league that provides sports experiences for children and youth that are inclusive, diverse, and require physical activity. Volunteers are coordinated by core program staff, programming is funded through sponsorships, donations, and the $90-$150 enrollment fee. Rainbow Soccer (RS) was founded 40 years ago and was the first recreational league in the Chapel Hill/Carrboro area.
Since 1972, Rainbow Soccer and Chapel Hill United has served children from Chapel Hill, Durham, Carrboro, Hillsborough and other surrounding communities. Typically we average 1300 students and pre-k children each season.

The Arc serves people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. It offers a variety of services to teach important social and communication skills as well as foster social interactions and a sense of community. Services range from group programs to individual services in order to address the needs of every individual at the Arc.
