Bridge II Sports is a nonprofit organization that provides opportunities for children and adults who are physically challenged to play team and individual sports. Bridge II Sports, in partnership with community partners, provides the equipment, coaching and play space, as well as develops teams.
Campus Y is a medium for service, activism, and social justice work where UNC students can engage their community internationally, locally, and right on campus. The organization houses several youth-serving committees, including Big Buddy, Carolina Kickoff, Catalyst Conference, Helping Youth by Providing Enrichment (HYPE), and Linking Immigrants to New Communities (LINC).
The mission of the CFS Summer programs is to provide a high quality, enriching, fun, and diverse experience available to students ranging in age from 5 – 14 years old from a wide range of backgrounds and consistent with the philosophy of Carolina Friends School.
The group looks for opportunities to facilitate the growth of services by raising money to improve the parks and open spaces in Carrboro.

This multipurpose recreation center offers an indoor pool, gymnasium, climbing wall and meeting room. Outside are basketball and bocce ball courts, playground, Gene Strowd Community Rose Garden with gazebo, compost demonstration site, walking trails and picnic tables. Outside areas on first come basis. Inside areas can be rented.
